Peniel
Concert Choir was founded in June of 1986
with 20 members. We have performed numerous concerts
in New York, New Jersey, Canada, and Korea over
the years, including performances of Handel's
Messiah, Vivaldi's Gloria, Mendelssohn's Elijah,
and Masses by Mozart, Schubert, and Beethoven.
Peniel holds two performances annually. Spring concert is usually performed around the end of May, and Winter concert is always on the second Sunday in December, and always performs Handel's Messiah. This year's Spring Concert will be our 50th regular performance, along with marking 18 years since we sang Messiah in English, as well as our 18th appearance at Avery Fisher Hall.
Peniel
Concert Choir is a non-profit organization.
